CONS PAPPALARDO PRO LAUNCH

Recently Converse Skateboarding threw a bash to mark the launch of Anthony Pappalardo’s first signature shoe, the CONS (PRODUCT)RED Pappalardo Pro (check it out here). As a nod to Anthony’s family, who own Pappalardo’s Pizza Cove on Long Island, the event went down at Arturo’s pizza parlour in downtown Manhattan. Also on board was jeweler Gabriel Urist who bronzed two hundred keyring replicas of the shoe as a special gift for friends and family. Check it all out below.

adidas Originals by Originals – Spring/Summer 2010 – David Beckham by James Bond – Milan Launch

As superstar English football player, David Beckham, is currently on loan to one of the strongest European leagues, A.C. Milan, it seems nothing but appropriate to launch Beckham’s latest collaborative collection with adidas Originals by Originals (ObyO) line designed by UNDFTD’s James Bond in Milan. The Spring/Summer 2010 collection launch was hosted at Milan’s retail/gallery/cafe creative space, 10 Corso Como. The store front was glowing with the adidas Originals logo on the night of the launch, and both Bond and Beckham made due appearances at the launch. Aside from the official availability of the latest adidas ObyO David Beckham designed by James Bond collection, the night also marked the preview of the Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Check out photos and recap the event and anticipate the next launch. By the looks of it, wherever David Beckham is playing, it seems like that’s where the next collection launch would be.

PUMA Union Square NYC – Usain Bolt Special Appearance

Clocked in at 9.58 seconds for 100 meter and 19.19 seconds for 200 meter, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt is undoubtedly the Fastest Man on Earth. For the launch of his signature t-shirt collection by PUMA, the world record holder (and breaker) will be making a special appearance at PUMA Union Square store in New York City tomorrow. Bolt will be greeting fans, signing autographs, and maybe, just maybe, break another world record…with a name like Bolt, you can’t help but be fast…The event starts at 3 pm tomorrow afternoon.

Fashion Week Launch: Robert Geller x Levi’s Collection

Last night, Complex trekked over to Bloomingdale’s to get a sneak peak of the Robert Geller for Levi’s collection. If you’re wondering who Robert Geller is and why he deserves to design a line for Levi’s, you obviously haven’t been paying attention to this site. Catch up!

The German-born, American educated designer got his start working at Marc Jacobs before going on to launch a number of brands, including the award-winning Cloak and the eponymous Robert Geller Menswear, which launched in 2007. Although he’s been toiling away in the industry for the better part of the last decade, gaining accolades left and right, it wasn’t until this year that the Council of Fashion Designers of America gave him the award for Best New Menswear Designer. The award came with a $50,000 prize that would be used to help established his label as well as the Levi’s mini-collection that puts a unique twist on American workwear classics. Familiar yet? Fabolous To Debut Newest Reebok Classic Remix Collection

After successful collabs with Kidz in The Hall, Kid Sister and B.o.B, Reebok teams up with MC Fabolous to launch their newest Reebok Classic Remix collection exclusively at select Foot Locker stores throughout the US.

Reebok will launch a five-city Classic Remix Concert Series with Fabolous as the main act in partnership with Cornerstone Promotion and Foot Locker.

Fabolous will meet and greet fans at Foot Locker locations throughout the US to promote Reebok’s Classic Remix footwear collection and the Classic Remix Concert Series:

Since his first appearance in the 1990’s, Fabolous have been coloring the music scene with his swagger. His newest single, “Throw It in The Bag” is now being played at radio stations across the country. His album “Loso’s Way” is debuting at #1 on the Billboard chart recently, and it will be a payoff to watch him perform live. The first one hundred fans in each city will be able to “buy a pair, get a pair”, and they’ll receive a pair of tickets to an exclusive and intimate Fabolous performance.
