New Balance X Crooked Tongues 576 Pub Pack Launch

Crooked Tongues and New Balance celebrated the launch of their 576 Pub Pack last night. The event took place at Hoxton’s Red Lion Pub, with a good amount of family, friends, and fans in attendance. Along with a peek into the collection, everyone enjoyed drinks, food, and all the goodies that come with a pub event. The focus within this collection is denim, featuring the Joey and Dictator, two signature pieces from April77, and introducing a more taught and tapered iteration dubbed Ride. SWAGGER is storming out with the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection entitled “Go Marching In” and to commemorate the release of SWAGGER MAG volume 4 of the same title, they are producing a strictly web limited special edition shirts. The Bleach Dungaree Shirts are only made to order and pre-orders will stop on Wednesday September 8th. As the name suggests, the black or indigo colored shirts are bleached in random pattern all over the fabric. On the back of the shirt is a shoulder to shoulder white screen print that reads “SWGR REBELS”. Once the orders are placed, these items are scheduled to be delivered around October.

Set to release Saturday, September 9th, is the Fall/Holiday Collection from Washington D.C.’s Durkl. Offered here is the Fall/Holiday 2010 lookbook, which features Durkl’s largest offering to date, including, jackets, flannels, fleece, hats, and tees. The lookbook was shot around the Nation’s capital, and offers iconic American fashion pieces enhanced with Durkl’s touch of stitching, quilting, and fabric patters. Look for these at Durkl retailers come Saturday.

In the past it had been very hard to buy products from Japan as there were problems with payment methods, language barriers and shops were simply not willing to ship overseas. However with the increase of online stores that are geared towards overseas customers, it is becoming more commonplace to order products directly from Japan where otherwise it would be impossible to acquire these unique brands. Such brand is B Jirushi Yoshida from Yoshida Kaban group who also produces PORTER and HEAD PORTER as well. Now they will be opening its own online store in ZOZOTOWN which is the largest fashion online shopping site in Japan. The opening is scheduled for Wednesday September 15th. Nike newest pack to release is the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer ‘Super Heroes’ pack, inspired by some of the famous super hero characters from DC Comics. The pack includes three new colorways of the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer, the first one to release will be the ‘Flash’ colorway which is set to drop this month. The second shoe from the pack is the ‘Superman’ colorway, with an all Blue upper this shoe is set to release in October, and finally the last shoe comes in a ‘Green Lantern’ colorway which is set to drop sometime in November. All three pairs will retail for a price of 115$ and will hit Nike retailers as a limited general release, pics of the ‘Super Heroes’ pack can be seen after the jump.

Sorta like a continuation to the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Work Boot’ that dropped back in late 2009, Nike is releasing a Nike AF1 ‘Hiking Pack’. The Nike Air Force 1 low ‘Hiking Pack’ comes in two colorways, a Grey and a Black colorway. Both pairs features a premium leather upper with metal eyelets and corded laces, which you’re most likely to find on a hiking boot. FTC 2010 Fall/Winter Lookbook

San Franciso’s own For the City skateshop, known colloquially as FTC, has dropped a lookbook for their proprietary Autumn/Winter 2010 line. The cast and crew of the San Fran shop uses the city as a backdrop to display their latest collection which features a litany of products from branded jackets, shirts, and sweats, to pants, hoodies, and hats. The collection is presented casually as a day in the life throughout the city as the crew skates, eats, and chills in their habitat.
