Following the announcing of his Rosewood Movement earlier this summer, Kanye West has gone forth and instituted a group-wide participation within his music label G.O.O.D.. While aesthetically, the Rosewood Movement stresses a certain sartorial flair involving suits, the initiative goes beyond fashion and requires those involved to showcase exemplary behavior towards others and to be a model citizen within society.
Sure, Kanye West might have created a pair of sneakers that is eerily similar to ATO Matsumoto’s famed chunky hi-tops with Louis Vuitton, but since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, there is no doubt that the music whiz who will be making a come back from the Swift affair last year with a solid record, tentatively titled “Good Ass Job”, is a connoisseur of sneakers. Having brought the chunky high tops back into the funky business, Kanye West can be relied on to be seen trotting about town in some of the most coveted styles. Recently, West was photographed in Manhattan spotting the most basic and yet the get-up that is timeless and can do absolutely no wrong– white t-shirt, jeans, sleek shades and a great pair of kicks. West was wearing a pair of red and navy waxed canvas high top sneaker from Raf Simons’ Fall/Winter 2010 collection, and while the styling is simple, when the bright shades are contrasted with classic blues and white, all attention goes to the feet.

Previously Kanye had been seen wearing the Black pair of the “Fresh Since ‘85″ Spiz’ikes while shopping in New York City.

Kanye West has been in hibernation, but he just burst out with his new singe–”Power.” The track samples King Crimson’s “21st Centry Schizoid Man,”–a title that seems well-suited for Kanye’s streaky reputation. There are moments when he’s on top of the world, while at other times he’s the butt of jokes and even presidential derision. There’s no denying his talent, though, as this new single flexes a style and structure that is 100% Kanye. True to autobiographical form, he addresses the SNL cast, his bouts with drinking, his ego, and his isolation. If this is a preview of what the new album’s innovation, then some may soon forget his public pitfalls.
Following up where they left off after their successful hit Flashing Lights, Kanye West makes his return to music with a new intriguing record featuring Dwele. You’ll find this on his highly anticipated album due out later this year and available on iTunes June 8th.
Kanye West AKA the Louis Vuitton Don has been spotted in New York over the course of the last week and one photographer recently caught him walking around the SoHo area in Manhattan. The rapper whose rumored to be working on his next album entitled, Good Ass Job, has kept a low profile ever since his outburst at the MTV Music Video Awards last year. While shopping in SoHo, Yeezy was spotted rocking a pair of the Air Jordan Spiz’ikes in Black, Varsity Red, and Cement Grey from the “Fresh Since ‘85″ Spiz’ike series of Spiz’ikes that were released earlier this year. In addition, Kanye also was carrying the Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Duffel Bag. via: KANYEWEST.US
