How fanatical are customers of The Hundreds? Just ask Sade, whose father got her hooked on the California-base lifestyle label. She actually inked The Hundred’s mascot, Adam Bomb, on her waistline (Bobby & Ben would be proud). But certainly you would not need a tattoo or other painful adornments to show your love, as demonstrated this morning on SoHo’s Grand Street. Hundreds, and no pun intended, of shoppers lined up since the early morning hours just catch a glimpse of The Hundreds New York, the latest and largest of the 3 retail spots it operate, not to mention stocking up of the exclusive THNY Grand Street Collection. No need to fret if you missed the opening, the store will remain opened till 7 pm this evening along this Saturday and Sunday for Labor Day Weekend. So swing by and see for your self.

This month’s release from uniform experiment is all about the details a modern man might have forgotten, like the pocket square or the bow-tie. Sure, bow-ties have made a good come back into the contemporary men’s wardrobe and also out of the restricting realms of black-tie functions with the help of quirky dressers like Andre3000 from the Black Eyed Peas. Also, Alexander Olch has helped bring a sense of creative pizazz into the little neck adornment as well. This season, uniform experiment puts a youthful touch on the formal accessory, and makes it well, formal with a rebellious edge, or street relevant, depending on how you look at it. Some are kept simpler with just an update in contrast trimming, others have spotted studs, and lightning bolts.

Just because it’s fall and winter is impending, it doesn’t mean that skating stops. So, adidas Skateboarding has the pushing taken care of with a new collection for Fall 2010. The new line-up includes the every-popular Campus Vulc in simpler, mature colorways, just as most likes it. The popular Busenitz with a larger tongue is back in maroon suede, perfect for fall, and the Gonz continues to mark his models with happy graphics. Another fun piece to note is the Eldrige Superstar, for the newcomer of the adidas Skateboarding team, Pete Eldridge. The palette is quite pared-down in general, and materials lean heavily towards suede for the colder weather.
